Electrical maintenance
Routine and corrective electrical maintenance on plant, fixed equipment and mobile equipment, worked around the site's maintenance schedule.
Perth-based electrical support for mining and industrial operations across Western Australia — maintenance, fault finding, breakdown support, modifications and project work.
E&B Industrial Electrical is a Perth-based electrical contractor providing practical electrical support to mining and industrial operations across Western Australia.
E&B is deliberately a small specialist business rather than a large contracting outfit. The focus is on quality workmanship, working problems out properly, and dealing with clients directly — when you engage E&B, you are talking to the person doing the work, not passing a message through layers.
The work spans mining electrical maintenance and fault finding, motor control and switchboard work, and support during shutdowns and projects. The exact scope depends on the site, the equipment and what the job actually needs.
Electrical support for mining operations, both underground and on the surface. Scope varies with the site, the equipment and the project requirements.
Routine and corrective electrical maintenance on plant, fixed equipment and mobile equipment, worked around the site's maintenance schedule.
Methodical electrical fault finding on power and control circuits, including control circuit faults that have proved difficult to trace on site.
Attendance when equipment is down with an electrical fault, working to get it back into service safely.
Scheduled electrical maintenance and inspections, arranged around existing intervals and site procedures.
Electrical modifications and upgrades to existing plant and equipment as requirements change.
Additional electrical capability inside planned shutdown windows, where scope and timing are fixed in advance.
Electrical scopes on mining projects, from installation and cable works through to commissioning support.
Repair and replacement of damaged electrical components, looms, panels and assemblies on plant and equipment.
Electrical work in operating underground mines, including underground drill electrical maintenance and support.
Electrical support for industrial facilities and equipment, covering both workshop and site-based scopes. This is heavy industrial and process work — E&B does not carry out domestic electrical work.
Maintenance of plant electrical systems, fixed equipment and supporting infrastructure in industrial facilities.
Tracing and resolving faults on industrial plant, including intermittent faults and problems that recur.
Work on starters, contactors, protection and associated motor control equipment across the plant.
Assembly, refurbishment, modification and testing of motor control centres and switchboards.
Control circuit fault finding, modification and testing, including interlocks and permissives.
Electrical work associated with variable speed drive feeders, including control, protection and wiring changes.
Electrical testing and inspection of equipment, to the extent set by the specification and agreed scope.
Upgrades and modifications to existing electrical equipment as process or operational requirements change.
Work carried out in the Perth workshop, on site, or across both as the job requires.
E&B is based in Perth and supports mining and industrial clients throughout Western Australia, depending on the requirements of the job.
Some work suits a workshop. Switchboard and MCC refurbishment, panel building and bench testing are all faster and better done with the equipment accessible and no production pressure around it. Other work can only happen where the equipment is installed — fault finding on a machine that is down, modifications during a shutdown, or commissioning support once equipment is in place.
E&B works across both, and site attendance across WA is arranged to suit the scope, the location and the timing of the work.
Three areas where E&B's work is more specialised, each covered in detail on its own page.
Electrical maintenance, fault finding and breakdown support for underground drill rigs — control systems, looms, sensors and power circuits.

Learn moreE&B's services are relevant to organisations that need specialist electrical capability without necessarily needing a large contractor.
Operations needing electrical maintenance, fault finding, breakdown support or additional capability during shutdowns and projects.
Processing and manufacturing sites needing support with plant electrical maintenance, motor control equipment and switchboards.
Equipment and switchboard builders needing workshop support, additional wiring capacity, or testing and FAT assistance.
Contractors needing specialist support in a particular area, or extra capability for a defined period.
Whether it's maintenance requirements, breakdown support, project work or an electrical scope coming up, tell us what's involved and we'll come back to you on whether it's work E&B is set up to take on.
